Ghosts are expert-level photo bombers, and they love to sneak into the background of photos all the time. Back in the days of film, it often took weeks for people notice something creepy lurking in their pictures.
This photograph, taken at a wedding in Scotland in October of 1972, is a good example of just that. By all accounts, it was a normal wedding — except for this one photograph that no one can explain.
Here are four friends at the wedding reception. Nothing out of the ordinary, right? Well, take a good look at the man”s feet on the right. See something weird?
With a closer look, there appears to be a foot of what the photographer called a “spirit extra” dressed in white trousers and open-toed sandals.
According to the photographer, there was no one behind the man when he walked away after the photo was taken. He even went so far as to have the photo examined by the police, who found no evidence of tampering.

That is one spooky wedding crasher. At least ghosts can”t steal the cake and drink all the champagne, right? If you ask me, the creepiest thing is that if you look closely, you can see the “spirit extra”s” toes.
So freaky. I didn”t know ghosts had toes.
